An active environmentalist and outdoor enthusiast, Julia was born and raised in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado. After years of witnessing changing landscapes, severe drought, and shorter winters, she decided to pursue a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy to protect the places she loves most for future generations. With her minor in public relations, she seeks to utilize communications and sociological concepts to motivate environmentally friendly behavior.

From leading campaigns that removed 62,000 pounds of trash from Orange County’s coastline to helping organize 10,000 climate strikers in Colorado last fall, Julia is an expert in mobilizing thousands of volunteers for social movements.

As volunteer coordinator of 350 Colorado she helped to increase membership by over 160% during the last three years. In her new role of communications and development director, she is working to ensure storytelling for the climate movement centers on those most impacted, as well as leading fundraising campaigns to scale up 350 Colorado's campaigns to match the severity of the climate crisis.
